Concert

Born in the West, the piano has continually become a medium for different cultural imaginations and aesthetic traditions. “Jing · Jie — East and West in the Piano” brings together contrasting yet resonant works by Chinese and European composers.

Following four images—dance, narrative, landscape, and theater—the program explores how the piano can transcend language and geography to create a shared space of perception between cultures.
